Becky Gibbs-Brown

My role at KEYFORT is as a registered general nurse.

My role at KEYFORT:

My role at KEYFORT is as a registered general nurse. I help to case manage support for people with nursing needs. I ensure that support workers are trained in additional nursing tasks and are competent in managing the nursing needs of the people we support.

I’m passionate about providing high quality nursing care, working with our supported persons and their clinicians to ensure that the care we provide is bespoke to their specific nursing needs.  I enable our supported persons to make informed choices regarding their care so they can maintain a high quality of life while managing their long term health conditions.

Previous Experience / Background:

I qualified as a registered general nurse in 2003 and have worked in a variety of clinical settings.  I have previously worked on acute medical and surgical wards, in a small community hospital and in cardiac rehabilitation.  I have been working for Keyfort since 2017 and love the variety this role gives me.

One fun fact about me:

I spent twenty minutes talking to the film director Danny Boyle at the premier of ’28 days later’ without realising he was the director of the film.  It wasn’t until he stood at the front of the cinema to talk about the film, then  I realised who I had been talking to!
