Name: Charlotte Solomons

My role at KEYFORT: Resource Administrator

I am the first point of contact for frontline workers in the North West and will be here to support with recruitment, onboarding of new starters to support them through their probationary periods, training as well as shift cover and On Call. My role is to help make sure that the people we support and those who work for KEYFORT have the resources they need to deliver safe and effective care.

Previous Experience / Background:

I have worked in the care industry for 10 years. During this time, I have worked with Adults and Children with a various Learning/Physical Difficulties including; Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Down’s Syndrome, Adults with Mental Health Illnesses such as; Personality Disorder, Bi-polar and Schizophrenia and looked after children who have experienced significant abuse and trauma throughout their lives including; Child Sexual Exploitation, involvement in County Lines and being involved in Gangs. Throughout my career, I have worked in different settings including; 2-1/3-1 Crisis Intervention Services, Specialised CSE Homes, Residential Homes, Respite Centres and Supported Living Accommodation. I am also a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

One fun fact about me:

People will hear me make MANY dumb comments like thinking that ‘donner meat was Elephant’s leg’ and as you get to know me, you’ll soon realise my Geography isn’t the best either, especially as I once worked with a Child who I took to Skegness to find the Loch Ness monster. On a more serious note and for all you football fans out there, I recently met ex England footballer and now club Ambassador ‘Micah Richards’ and what a lovely guy he is!
