Vacancy Job Title; Brain Injury Support Worker

Vacancy Location; Teesside (Thornaby)

Hourly rate; £9.50

Contract type; Flexible / Fixed

Number of hours available; up to 20 hours +

Shift pattern available; Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 11am to 4pm and Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 9pm

Person Specific Information; You will be supporting a gentleman at his home in Thornaby and out in the community. He has a Traumatic Brain Injury and, needs support to help him initiate tasks and engage in social and leisure activities in his local community. He is a very chatty gentleman, so its important that you are able to engage with him.  We are looking for supportive and caring staff who can  prompt him to get ready within his target time on the morning, and then take him out on the afternoon.

Essential Criteria; Driver access to their own vehicle and with business insurance.

Desirable Criteria; Previous Care Experience, some knowledge or understanding of Brain Injuries
