Role Requirements; We are looking for an Electronic Note Taker to work with a female Children’s Social Worker who has a hearing impairment and requires note taking support at work. The role is based in the Redcar area and the lady we support will be working for Redcar Borough District Council.  An accurate and competent typing speed is vital for this role.

You must have availability to cover sessions Monday to Friday between 8:00-17:00; the client requires 25 hrs of support per week, approximately 5 hours per day however, you must be flexible in start and finish times to accommodate her working hour requirements.

You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle as part of the role involves driving to external meetings/appointments to assist the social worker with note taking. You will not be required to drive the client on session. The role requires a high level of confidentiality and you be required to complete a DBS as part of your preemployment checks.

A degree of emotional resilience is required in this role due to the nature of the clients work as a Children’s Social Worker.
