Vacancy Location; In universities across the North East, Teesside, York, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and Liverpool.

Contract type; Zero Hour / Bank contract.

Shift pattern(s) available; Various;

  • Timetable – Self-managed, Monday to Friday predominantly around the students’ academic timetable
  • Non timetable support – Very adhoc and only if the Speciality Mentor has the capacity to accommodate time frame

Hourly rate; £15 per hour

What are KEYFORT looking for; KEYFORT are looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Specialist Mentors who have specific experience of working with individuals with Autism or Mental Health.

What would you be doing in your role? You will be working within the Universities and Further Education Colleges that KEYFORT work in partnership with. As a Specialist Mentor you will ensure effective support is delivered to students in a higher education setting.

You will be providing a high quality, responsive service which aims to remove barriers that prevent students from participating in higher and further education. To be considered for this position you must be highly motivated, positive person that will encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop their skills as far as possible. You will provide expertise in the area of mentoring to help students to develop their learning strategies.
