We’re building a team of Support Workers across the North East, offering a range working patterns; including days, nights and weekends. We’re very mindful around maintaining a healthy work-life balance around your studies 😉 while developing fantastic hands-on experience, that enhances your CV.
Who You’ll Support: We have various cases across where we are looking to add dedicated students to the teams. There are a range of hours offering unique and rewarding experiences;
Newcastle (AL) |
A 26-year-old male Mathematics undergraduate. He has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy, significantly impacting physical functions such as speech, eating, walking, and hand control. |
Various. Monday to Sunday. 12hr shifts, 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am – sleep |
Newcastle (PS) |
A 28-year-old male PhD student with Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy, requiring practical academic and personal care support |
Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm |
South Shields |
A family of four boys (aged 4–11) with Autism and complex needs – Supporting their social, emotional, and practical skill development |
Saturday or Sunday
10am – 4pm |
South Shields (DS) |
A 13-year-old girl with Muscular Dystrophy, secondary Muscle Eye Brain Disease, and High Myopia – Assisting with her sensory and physical need |
Saturday or Sunday
11am – 3pm |

Twin boys (aged 7) with Autism – Providing support tailored to their individual needs. |

A 26-year-old female PHD student. She has Ullrich Congenital Muscular. Support includes; personal care and medication administration. She has nursing and complex clinical needs. |

Gateshead (JC) |
A 16-year-old girl with Autism and Learning Disabilities – she is limited verbally, has a Speech and Language Therapist. She also has a complex sensory profile and has weekly home visits from an OT, who works on regulating techniques. |
Tuesday
2pm – 7pm Saturday 10am – 4pm

Gateshead (LC) |
A 27-year-old female with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability. Support needed to live independently in her home, loves arts and crafts, attends college – driver needed. |
