Occupational Therapist – Male – North East Based – Full Time 37.5 hours

Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Male
Location: Hybrid, Head Office and also North East based
Salary: £28,000 per annum (FTE)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified and Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Active HCPC registration
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our North East team. You will work within your professional and regulatory boundaries to support individuals with a range of complex care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy in line with HCPC standards and NICE guidelines.
  • Oversee clinical needs and care plans for individuals we support, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
  • Support the development and delivery of bespoke supported care packages, particularly for those with complex needs.
  • Provide training to colleagues in both mandatory and specialist areas, ensuring staff are confident and competent in their roles.
  • Collaborate with Service Managers, Team Leads, Rehabilitation Assistants, and Support Workers, delegating tasks where appropriate.
  • Engage directly with individuals receiving support, their families, and relevant external professionals and commissioners.
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a high standard of care and compliance.
  • Support internal audits and external inspections by adhering to company policies and contributing to quality standards.
