As SEND Lead, you will work collaboratively with academic coordinators, case managers, and support staff, building strong relationships and guiding the interpretation and use of SEND data to support meaningful outcomes. You will bring a clear, professional, and engaging communication style, with a natural ability to lead and inspire both individuals delivering support and the people receiving it. This role is critical in delivering consistent day-to-day operations, developing service quality, and managing relationships with external partners, commissioners, local authorities, schools, and higher education institutions.
You will thrive in a people-first environment and be comfortable leading a remote team, using your initiative and passion to support inclusive practice and drive sustainable service growth.

- Provide leadership across all SEND services, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous development.
- Lead and support the development of provision to facilitate the progression and positive outcomes of people we support with SEND.
- Work in partnership with academic coordinators, case managers, and staff to ensure understanding and application of SEND best practice.

- Build strong, professional relationships with the people we support, their families, commissioners, local authorities, and education partners.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of support packages, working alongside the individual and commissioner to ensure they are person-centred and impactful.
- Manage the day-to-day running of services and contracts with local authorities, schools, colleges, and universities.
- Support the team through coaching, supervision, and professional development — fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Be a visible and proactive leader in promoting SEND awareness, inclusivity, and innovation within the service and wider company.
- Actively contribute to the development and expansion of SEND services in line with strategic and operational goals.
