Your Working Pattern
This role follows a set fortnightly rolling rota, offering consistency and a great work-life balance:
Week A:
- Monday: 10:00 – 14:00
- Wednesday: 10:00 – 14:00
- Friday: 16:00 – 20:00
- Saturday: 10:00 – 14:30
- Sunday: 10:00 – 14:30
Week B:
- Monday: 10:00 – 14:00
- Tuesday: 16:00 – 20:00
- Wednesday: 10:00 – 14:00
- Friday: 10:00 – 14:00
Who You’ll Be Supporting
You’ll be supporting a lady with a brain injury who lives independently in her own home, alongside her beloved pet dog. Your role is to offer friendly and consistent support with:
- Encouragement and assistance with basic personal hygiene
- Basic medication administration and management
- Meal preparation and weekly food shopping
- Community access and social support
This lady is passionate about sports, loves a trip to the arcades or the pub to catch up with old friends, and attends bingo twice a week. She’s looking for someone with a down-to-earth and open-minded personality – ideally someone who shares or respects her interests and supports her positively through any difficulties that may arise from her brain injury.
Your approach should encourage independence, gently motivate her to engage in the things she enjoys, and provide calm, consistent companionship.
